Delete Your VocaMingo Account

Your account will not be deleted without verification

We verify account ownership before completing an external request. Never send us a password, sign-in link, verification code, or other sensitive credential.

Fastest option

Delete from the Android or iOS app

If VocaMingo is still installed and you can access the account:

Open VocaMingo and go to Settings.
Select Delete Account & Data.
Review the information shown by the app.
For an email-protected account, continue to send a verification email, check Inbox, Spam, or Junk, then open the secure link on the same device.
Return to VocaMingo and confirm the final permanent deletion.

The in-app deletion control is available for anonymous and email-protected accounts on Android and iOS. Anonymous accounts are submitted for deletion immediately after the final confirmation. Email-protected accounts require the secure email step described above.

Check Spam or Junk The verification email may take a minute to arrive. Check your Spam or Junk folder if you do not see it in your inbox.

No access to the app

Request deletion by email

Send the request from the email address connected to your VocaMingo account whenever possible. This helps us verify ownership and locate the correct account. If the profile was anonymous, include your platform, profile name, approximate last-use date, and any non-sensitive support details you still have.

Request account deletion

This button opens your email app. You can also email vocamingo@gmail.com with the subject “VocaMingo Account Deletion Request.” You do not need to reinstall the app.

We may ask for additional non-sensitive information when reasonably necessary to verify ownership. We aim to complete verified requests within 30 days.

Data we delete

Your Firebase Authentication identity and connected email, if any;
Your private profile, built-in avatar selection, and cloud progress;
Coins, stars, scores, completed game levels, and synced game statistics;
Synced learning and lesson progress;
Teacher Access applications and roles, classes you own, class codes, and related classroom memberships; and
Your public leaderboard profile and associated ranking data.

Local and retained information

Data stored only on your device cannot be removed remotely. Use Reset Progress or uninstall VocaMingo to remove local app data from that device.

We may retain deletion-request correspondence when reasonably necessary to document the request, prevent abuse, resolve disputes, or meet legal obligations. Independent providers may retain data under their own policies.
